Quill Flow combines voice dictation, AI cleanup, and swipe typing on Android, iPhone and iPad. It suits edited messages and notes; review the result when exact wording matters.

Android download, APK and mod APK questions
The official Android route is Google Play. Look for FLOW STUDIOS and package com.flowstudios.quillflow. The developer's site links to that listing; we found no separate official APK or endorsed modified build in the sources checked.
If you searched for an unlocked version to avoid a subscription, first check the official app's free limits below. A mirror's version number or “Pro” label does not verify its features or data handling. If Play reports incompatibility, check your device and store region rather than assuming a different installer will fix it.

Quill Flow's App Store description claims support for 100+ dictation languages. The App Store's interface-language metadata lists a smaller set; those are different measurements and should not be treated as the same claim.
How it works
Dictate, clean up, then insert the result
The App Store listing positions Quill Flow as a mobile keyboard. You switch to it inside a supported text field, speak, and let its AI processing turn the recording into written text. The developer says the keyboard can trim pauses, remove filler words, and format the result for context and tone.
Voice input across apps
The App Store listing says it works wherever the iPhone keyboard is available.
Automatic speech cleanup
Vendor-described cleanup includes filler-word removal and formatting rather than raw transcription alone.
Whisper Mode and personal vocabulary
The listing promotes quiet dictation and vocabulary adaptation; independent accuracy evidence is not yet available here.
Swipe typing alongside voice
Quill Flow is positioned as a daily keyboard, not only a microphone overlay.
Limits to understand before installing
A polished App Store description is not performance evidence. These are the unresolved points that matter most in a keyboard handling speech and typed text.
Permission scope
Review every permission requested during keyboard setup. Cloud AI features can require network access, so the data path matters more than the presence of a privacy label alone.
Subscription terms
Free installation and unlimited dictation are different offers. Check your app's quota and renewal terms, then compare the platform-specific pricing notes.
Edited vs literal text
Automatic cleanup may improve readability while reducing fidelity. Keep original audio when exact wording is important.
Is Quill Flow free? Separate the download from the allowance
Android
Google Play offers free installation and paid upgrades. We could not verify a numeric Android free quota from the public listing. Check the usage counter and paywall in your installed version; guest access does not establish unlimited use.
iPhone and iPad
The US App Store showed weekly $3.99, annual $39.99 and a $69.99 lifetime offer on October 22. Other deal and introductory items were also listed; eligibility and renewal depend on your purchase screen. A separate $6.99 “Pro” item did not label its billing period, so we do not describe it as monthly.
The published terms still say 500 free words per week, but are dated March 2026 and refer to Apple billing. That is a published allowance, not a verified promise for every current Android install. How to install Quill Flow on Android
Based on the official Google Play description, not a handset test.
- Install the FLOW STUDIOS app from Google Play, then open onboarding.
- Choose the keyboard, or keep your existing keyboard with the optional dictation bubble.
- Review microphone access for dictation. The listing says only the optional bubble uses AccessibilityService; the keyboard does not require it.
- Try a draft, review the text, and confirm before inserting it with the bubble.
The Play listing says guest use is available without creating an account. The developer lists Android 10+ and says dictation needs internet; check Play compatibility for your device. The keyboard and optional bubble have different permission needs, and feature parity with iOS is not established. Developer requirements
How to install Quill Flow on iPhone
Setup sources checked October 22, 2026. This combines the App Store requirements with Apple's keyboard settings instructions; it is not a hands-on walkthrough of Quill Flow's onboarding.
- Check that your iPhone runs iOS 18.4 or later, then install Quill Flow from the App Store.
- Open the app and follow onboarding. Under Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard, choose Quill Flow.
- Review the app's microphone and any Full Access prompts. We have not independently verified which permissions each Quill Flow feature requires.
- Open a normal text field in Notes, hold the globe key, and choose Quill Flow. Use its voice control to try a short sentence, then check names, numbers, and punctuation in the returned text.
If it does not appear, check the enabled keyboard list and try another ordinary text field. This is a suggested first check, not a measured dictation result.

Privacy and setup checklist
The policy says recordings, transcripts and formatted results are deleted after each request, with dictation history kept on your phone. It also says service providers retain data only for the request. Account records are handled separately. These are developer disclosures; we have not audited the app or providers.
Dictation still needs internet. Deletion after processing does not make it offline, and the legal policy does not identify processors or spell out a model-training clause. Review that data path before using confidential text.
